- Abstract
mass production of products made of sheet materials, usually requires full sheets of these materials, in order to faciliate production by machine. artisanal production (hand made or low volume machine production enhanced by hand) carries with it the advantage of using “off cuts” or pieces of material that would ordinarily be discarded. this project uses off-cut coloured glass profiles to create a hanging lamp. individuality (each piece is unique) and craftsmanship can be adequately displayed
