Biography
Copywriter, lecturer, lyricist (Siae partner), author of novels, poetry, cinematographic and theatrical screenwriter.
Communication is my stage.
After a degree in literature at the State University of Milan, I begin to work as a copywriter in McCann Erickson, then in Euro RSCG, in Bates, then I open my own GHL agency, then continue in Brand Portal, then free lance.
I worked for: Heineken, Coca Cola, Citroen, Aia, Fabbri Editori, Seven, La Rinascente, Manitoba, Fineco, Airc, Salmoiraghi & Viganò, Bauli, Caffè Mauro, Royal Chain and many others.
Meanwhile, through other areas of writing. I'm starting to write song lyrics. Finally in 1993 I win Sanremo Giovani as the author of the song "La solitudine" sung by Laura Pausini. For Laura I write the whole first album. A worldwide success.
I don't stop here.
Together with Sandro Baldoni I write the screenplay for the film Strange Stories - Tales from the end of the century, presented at the Venice Film Festival with great critical acclaim.
I also write for the theater. In fact mine is the script, together with the theater company Quelli di Grock, of the show Sottili Trasparenze.
Then a few years ago, between a stroke and the other in the pool, I have an inspiration and I begin to write a story whose protagonist is a boy who floats more than the others and who becomes
a swimming champion. This is how my first novel entitled "Sughero" was born.
I can do it even with rhymes. Especially with alternating ones. Thus some books of poetry are born from my pen. To remember: "The verses of the ungulate" collection that traces an ironic and caustic furrow on a grotesque and skewed humanity.
I also taught at the Communication Academy on the subject:
"How to make words sing / The sound of communication - Elective affinities between copywriters and lyricists"
