Massimo Barbierato trained at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and the Iuav University of Venice, where he graduated in Architecture. In 2000, he founded his own studio, launching a multidisciplinary career that spans architecture, interior design, and industrial design, with projects completed in Italy and abroad in the residential, cultural, exhibition, and retail sectors.
For years, he has combined his professional practice with academic work, teaching at the University of San Marino, Iuav in Venice, and the Academy of Fine Arts, as well as participating in workshops and conferences on contemporary design.
His research focuses on the nature of materials and the sustainability of production processes, aiming to reduce environmental impact. Through an essential and multidisciplinary approach, he develops projects in which function, emotion, and material research coexist in balance. - Who are you?
