Jana is a Barcelona-based graphic designer and emerging art director working at the intersection of food, body, and visual culture. Her practice moves between branding, motion, and editorial design, with a growing focus on food design as a tool for sensory exploration and social impact.
Her work is driven by a strong interest in the body; especially perception, communication, and identity. Through her ongoing research, she explores how taste, texture, and form can become design materials, creating edible objects that are not only consumed but experienced.
Her latest project is centered on macroglossia and oral sensitivity in people with Down syndrome, combining scientific research with speculative and inclusive design. This has led her to create a series of therapeutic candies that stimulate oral proprioception while challenging conventional ideas of confectionery.
With a background in dance, photography, and visual storytelling, Jana approaches snack design as a performative and emotional medium; where aesthetics, care, and play coexist. Her goal is to produce work that is both visually compelling and deeply human, opening new conversations around food, accessibility, and the body. - Who are you?
