Andrea Zanocchi
Torino, 1987
Trained as an architect (Politecnico di Torino, Universidade Estadual de Campinas,
and Universidade de São Paulo), after a period in Italy assisting the architect Luciano Pia
in residential projects, he began his career by participating in the re-urbanization
interventions in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in preparation for the 2014 FIFA World Cup
and the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
In 2013, he co-founded the architecture and design firm Zanocchi & Starke,
which currently boasts 15 international awards and over 40 products in its portfolio.
Since 2020, he has been the creative director of the architectural collective GNAM,
active in Italy, Brazil, Greece, and Lebanon.
In 2023, he starts AZDS - Andrea Zanocchi Design Studio. A new path, parallel yet
