- Abstract
On average one person per year will use a tone of paper that will end up at a recycling plant. The paper recycling process does reduce the resources and chemicals used compared to manufacturing virgin paper though more can be done. By using lasers to remove the ink from paper, the paper can be reused. There is no waste, no water consumption or trees cut , just the energy to run the product. The de-inking product is the next step from recycling paper to reusing each piece of paper in the office.
